Club Update – 28th June 2021 – Coronavirus Restrictions

Updated COVID-19 Restrictions effective from 1:00am Tuesday 29th June 2021

As you may have already heard the Queensland Chief Medical Officer has announced the following requirements for the next 2 weeks:

  • Masks are to be worn in indoor venues when entering & exiting, or away from seat
  • Only seated drinking and dining
  • Workers to wear masks unless they are in a room by themselves
  • Numbers back to 1 person per 4m2 indoors and 1 person per 2m2 for outdoors
  • Wedding numbers to 100
  • No dancing

 

Clubhouse

The Club is now permitted to have 162 people in total over the entire upstairs clubhouse but there will be limits in each area, i.e in the gaming room only 4 patrons & members lounge 56 patrons.  Signage will be posted.

Entry will be from the main clubhouse entry with exit required from the bistro entry unless the lift is required.  Members/patrons using the clubhouse facilities prior to golf may use the main entry with care.

Masks must be worn on entry & exit as well as when approaching the bar or bistro staff to order drinks or meals.

Patrons must be seated when drinking or eating.  No patrons are to stand at the bar while drinking.

All patrons must continue to utilise the Queensland Governments ‘Check in Qld’ app when entering the clubhouse.

Please be aware of social distancing around the bar and bistro areas.

Starters box/Pro shop

Masks must be worn when approaching the starter and when entering the Pro Shop.

Please be aware of social distancing around these areas.

Halfway House

Masks must be worn when approaching staff to order food or drinks.

Please be aware of social distancing in this area.

Course

Flags are not to be touched – left in the hole.

Sand buckets and ball washers will be removed.

Trivia numbers will need to be reviewed in-line with these restrictions.  Mel & I will work through the details this week and contact all bookings.
